The AncientCity of Ping Yao

The old town of Ping Yao lies in Jinzhong in Shanxi Province, 90km south of Taiyuan, which is a famous culture town with 2700 years history. It is often bracketed with Lang Zhong (in Si Chuan province), Li Jiang (in Yun Nan province), and ShexianCounty (in AnhuiProvince) as the four well preserved ancient cities.

Wutai Mountain

Mount Wutai is located between the Wutai county and Fanzhi County in Xinzhou, the northeast of Shanxi Province, 230km north of Taiyuan, which is often bracketed with Mount Emei (in Si Chuan province), Mount Jiuhua (in An Hui province), and Mount Putuo (in Zhejiang province) as the four famous mountains of Buddhism in China.

Jin MemorialTemple

Jin MemorialTemple is located in the mountain foot of Xuan Weng, 25km southwest from Taiyuan. It’s a famous science spots and historic sites and was determined as one of national key cultural relics protection units by the state council in March 1961.

Qiao’s Grand Courtyard

Qiao’s Grand Courtyard is located in Qiaojia village , Qixian County in Shanxi Province, 12 km northeast from Qixian county, 54 km south of Taiyuan. It is a spectacular building group, looking much like a symbol of the prosperous double “xi” word down from the sky yard layout. The campus covers an area of 8724 square meters, and the building area is of 3870 square meters.

Mian Mountian

Mount Mian lies in the south of Fen river, across Jiexiu, Lingshi, Qinyuan three city county, 20km from Jiexiu, and 140km from Taiyuan. The highest elevation is 2566.6 meters, the relative height is 1000 meters, is a branch north of Mount TaiYue.
